Description

The GT540 Optimus, also known as the GT540 Swift and the Loop GT540, is a mid-level Android smartphone designed and manufactured by LG Electronics. The GT540 Optimus ships with Android 1.6 Donut, but can be officially upgraded to Android 2.1 Eclair via an LG software release.Android enthusiasts have created unofficial updates that allow the GT540 to run Android 2.2 Froyo, Android 2.3 Gingerbread and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

LG designed the GT540 for first time smartphone users, marketing the device under the slogan "Optimal performance for first time smartphone users."The device is available in four colors: black, white, pink and silver. First announced on April 27, 2010 and first sold in June, 2010, the device is now available worldwide.

LG Optimus One

The Optimus One with Google is a family of entry-level, touch-screen smartphones manufactured by LG Electronics, Inc. Initially released running the Android 2.2 Froyo software stack, LG plans to release software to upgrade the many variants to Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Although the basic physical form factor of each variant is the same, the variants have differences in hard button shape and layout, the form of the metal side bezel and the user interfaces added by LG or various carriers. Versions of the Optimus One exist that operate on various frequency bands and either GSM or CDMA-based network protocols. They may also feature one or more variations in hardware, such as a faster processor, the addition of a physical keyboard, a modem with higher theoretical speeds, or a better digital camera.

LG Optimus 7

The LG Optimus 7 (also known as the LG-E900) is a slate smartphone which runs Microsoft's Windows Phone operating system. The Optimus 7 is part of the first generation Windows Phone lineup launched October 2010, It features a 1 GHz Qualcomm SnapdragonQSD8650 processor chip, 3.8-inch LCD TFT Capacitive Touchscreen, DLNA, 16GB of internal storage, 512MB of RAM and a 5-megapixel camera with LED Flash and 720p HD video recording capability.

The LG Quantum or Optimus 7Q (also known as the C900) is a slider smartphone which runs Microsoft's Windows Phone operating system. The LG Quantum was launched November 8, 2010 on AT&T.

LG Optimus 2X

The LG Optimus 2X is a smartphone designed and manufactured by LG Electronics. The Optimus 2X is the world's first smartphone with a dual-core processor and third phone in the LG Optimus-Android series. LG debuted the Optimus 2X on December 16, 2010 and the device first became available to consumers in South Korea in January 2011.It was also launched in Singapore on March 3, 2011.The Optimus 2X runs the Android 2.3 software stack since an upgrade that rolled out November 2011.

LG Optimus 4X HD

LG Optimus 4X HD is an upcoming smartphone designed and manufactured by LG Electronics. It is rumored that the Optimus 4X will be the world's first smartphone with a quad-core processorand fourth phone in the LG Optimus-Android series. LG first introduced LG Optimus 4X HD at the Mobile World Congress. The Optimus 4X HD runs the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

LG Optimus Black

The LG P970 Optimus Black is a smartphone designed and manufactured by LG Electronics. With 9.2 mm, it's LG's thinnest smartphone at the time of its release and is slightly smaller than the iPhone 4. The LG Optimus Black features a WVGA NOVA display which is brighter than competitor displays with brightness of 700nits. Furthermore the NOVA display consumes less energy compared to competitor displays . LG Optimus Black is claimed to be the first smartphone with 2MP front camera.

In The United States, LG Optimus Black is offered by multiple wireless carriers with distinctive branding including Sprint and Boost Mobile as the LG LS855 Marquee, US Cellular as the LG US855 Majestic, and other Regional carriers as the LG 855 Ignite.

In Canada, the LG Optimus Black is offered by Telus as a special edition in collaboration withSkype.

LG Optimus 3D

The LG Optimus 3D, or LG Thrill 4G in the USA, is a Android 2.2 froyo (Android 2.3 Gingerbread upgradeable) 3D mobile device released on 7 July 2011 in the UK and has been touted as the worlds first full 3D mobile phone. It has 512MB of RAM and 8GB of onboard storage which can be expanded by up to 32GB using a micro SDHC card. The phone features two 5 MP back facing cameras that are capable of filming 720p 3D and Full HD 1080p in 2D while pictures taken in 2D mode are 5MP and 3MP when taken a 3D picture. It also includes a VGA front facing camera for video calling. The phone also features a 3D user interface which allows the users to access 3D content such as YouTube in 3D, 3D games and apps, 3D gallery with a push of a button.

The LG Enlighten (code-named the "Gelato Q", known as the LG Optimus Slider for Virgin Mobile USA and the LG Eclypse in Canada) is an Android-powered smartphone developed byLG Electronics, Inc.. It was first released on September 22, 2011 on Verizon Wireless in theUnited States.

LG Optimus LTE 

The LG Optimus LTE is one of the first released 4G LTE smartphones running under the Android operating system that is manufactured by LG. It was first released on October 10, 2011 in South Korea.
